The International Organization for Health, Sports, and Kinesiology (IOHSK) is an international, non-governmental, non-profit, and professional organization funded by Xplore Nations, a non-profit organization 501(c)(3) in the United States, which aims to promote high-quality research worldwide in the areas of health, sports, and Kinesiology. IOHSK is multilingual, multiethnic, and multicultural and comprises universities, colleges, institutions, and individual members from across the globe. As of December 2025, IOHSK has over 36,500 members in 108 countries.

Visa Requirements: Individuals who require a visa to travel to Korea must submit their proposals earlier (by February 15, 2026) than the standard submission deadline and complete their conference registration (by March 15, 2026) in order to receive an official letter of invitation from Dr. Sungje Park, Co-Chair of the Conference at Chung-Ang University.

The IOHSK’s mission is to promote the professional growth and achievement of professionals, professors, scholars, researchers, undergraduate and graduate students, and practitioners in the related fields of Health, Sports, and Kinesiology and preparation for global competitiveness by fostering professional excellence. The followings are specific mission and vision statements of the IOHSK.
Strengthen the professional and academic commitments to the related fields in Health, Sports, and Kinesiology.
Provide all members of the IOHSK with an equal opportunity to get involved in various professional and academic activities, including leadership developments, committee services, presentations, publications, workshops, and events.
Encourage the increased involvement of the professional and academic activities and programs.
Promote and share improvements and advancements in the quality, usefulness, and contributions of professional and academic activities through conferences, publications, presentations, workshops, and special events.
Provide all members of the IOHSK with a platform to get together for exchanging communication, sharing information, disseminating professional and academic research, and collaborating on various activities, professionally, academically, and globally.

The IOHSK is managed and operated as a Non-Profit Organization 501 (c)(3), with a clear and promising vision for the commitment, contribution, communication, and development of professionals in the field of Education, Health, Sports, and Kinesiology. The status of the Non-Profit Organization 501 (c)(3) was approved and established on April 23, 2020, by (a) the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), U.S., (b) the California Secretary of State on May 1, 2020, and (c) registered in the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California on May 21, 2020. The official name of the Non-Profit Organization is "Xplore Nations, Inc." to promote and contribute educational and cultural services to the local, national, and international communities.
The Xplore Nations will have two distinct divisions in terms of the status of a Non-Profit Organization, 501(c)(3):
a. Educational Division: Professional organization and journal publicationb. Cultural Division: Disseminate and present cultural performances (e.g., Korean martial arts, dance, and sports to the communities).
Members with membership fees, publication processing fees, donations, and/or gifts to the IOHSK and JOHSK can deduct their contributions from their tax report under TRC Section 170 as a "public charity organization".

How to become a professional member of IOHSK?
To become a professional member, you must complete the IOHSK membership application and submit the annual membership fee: $60 for faculty and non-student members, $40 for graduate students, and $20 for undergraduate students. Membership is valid for 12 months from the date of registration..

What is a merit-based scholarship and grant?
Merit-based scholarships and grants are awarded to IOHSK registered members who demonstrate commitment, engagement, and active participation in IOHSK activities prior to applying. Priority is given to members who contribute to IOHSK as social media ambassadors, undergraduate student council members, committee members, or active participants in events and conferences.
What types of scholarships and grants are available?
IOHSK offers a variety of scholarships and grants to support members’ academic and professional development. Available scholarships include the Dr. Thomas L. McKenzie International Undergraduate and Graduate Student Scholarships, Lucy Tierk Shoham Memorial Scholarship, The Hoichi-So Foundation Scholarships, and IOHSK Presidential Scholarships. Available grants include Travel and Research Grants, Student Club Seed Grants, and Physical Activity Research Grants.

Doe IOHSK have an institutional membership or registration?
IOHSK does not offer institutional-based memberships; all memberships must be registered individually. However, the Hoichi-So Foundation Scholarships are awarded to IOHSK-partnered universities that demonstrate outstanding membership engagement, active commitment, and meaningful participation in IOHSK activities such as conferences, events, committee service, journal publications, and other significant academic contributions.
