Announced on November 28, 2025

The International Organization for Health, Sports, and Kinesiology (IOHSK) is pleased to announce the recipients of the travel and research grants to attend the 9th IOHSK International Conference at Chung-Ang University in Seoul, Korea, on July 22–24, 2026. Grant amounts were determined based on travel distance, academic status (junior faculty, graduate student, or undergraduate student), and the available budget. All recipients are required to attend the conference either in person or virtually and will receive reimbursement for the allocated cash portion of the grant upon arrival.

All in-person grant recipients will be required to stay at the international guest house on the Chung-Ang University campus, located adjacent to the conference venue. Conference registration fees and the cost of a four-night stay at the guest house will be paid directly from the grant amount and will not be disbursed in cash. In addition, all in-person grant recipients will be included in the international delegate program and will receive the associated benefits (over $100 value), including invited dinners and a city tour with admission fees. These activities will be shared with keynote and plenary speakers as well as IOHSK Board Members.

The travel and research grants will be supported through donated funds, totaling $5,700 after PayPal service fees, with IOHSK covering any remaining expenses incurred during the conference. Each recipient will be contacted by email to confirm acceptance of the grant. After confirmation, recipients will be required to submit an official letter of travel approval or support from their university. Once the letter is received, IOHSK will proceed with purchasing international travel insurance for each recipient.

The travel budget is limited, so each recipient is encouraged to seek additional funding from their university and other available sources. With more than eight months remaining until the conference, there is ample time to explore supplementary support opportunities. IOHSK is deeply thankful to all donors whose generosity has made this opportunity possible for our international members. IOHSK is excited to host the recipients at the international conference and looks forward to welcoming them to Seoul, Korea.
