IOHSK Announces Dr. Jea Woog Lee as Vice President of IOHSK East Asia
The International Organization for Health, Sports, and Kinesiology (IOHSK) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Jea Woog Lee, Assistant Professor in the College of Sport Sciences at Chung-Ang University, as Vice President of IOHSK East Asia. His two-year term will begin on August 1, 2026, and continue through August 1, 2028.
In this important leadership role, Dr. Lee will work closely with the President of IOHSK East Asia, Dean Dr. Sungje Park of the College of Sport Sciences at Chung-Ang University, to strengthen IOHSK’s presence, partnerships, and professional activities throughout the East Asian region. Together, they will support the organization’s mission of advancing health, sport, physical education, and kinesiology through international collaboration, scholarly exchange, professional development, and meaningful service.
Dr. Lee has been an active member of IOHSK since 2025 and has participated in IOHSK conferences and related activities since 2020. Through these experiences, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to the organization and has developed a clear understanding of its international mission, values, and growing global community.
His leadership and dedication were especially evident during the 9th IOHSK International Conference, held at Chung-Ang University in Seoul, Korea, from July 22–24, 2026. Dr. Lee played a central role in organizing, coordinating, and managing many essential components of the conference. His careful planning, dependable communication, attention to detail, and willingness to take on significant responsibilities contributed greatly to the success of this major international event. His efforts helped create a welcoming, professional, and well-organized conference experience for presenters, participants, students, volunteers, and guests from around the world.
IOHSK is confident that Dr. Lee’s academic experience, organizational abilities, collaborative leadership, and dedication will make a meaningful contribution to the continued growth of IOHSK East Asia. His appointment will further strengthen relationships among universities, scholars, professionals, and students while creating new opportunities for regional and international cooperation.
