The International Organization for Health, Sports, and Kinesiology (IOHSK) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Uk Je Sung as Assistant General Manager for a two-year term, effective August 1, 2026, through August 1, 2028.

In this leadership role, Mr. Sung will assist with the planning, coordination, and implementation of IOHSK programs, organizational events, and annual international conferences during 2027 and 2028. He will also support IOHSK’s efforts to expand its global engagement and better serve its growing international community of scholars, professionals, practitioners, and students.

Mr. Sung earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University and his master’s degree from Columbia University in New York. He is currently a doctoral candidate in Public Health at Columbia University and has recently completed his doctoral dissertation.

Mr. Sung’s academic training, professional experience, and expertise in public health will strengthen IOHSK’s interdisciplinary mission and contribute to the continued development of its educational, professional, and international initiatives.
