Book Signing Event with Dr. Timothy Baghurst at the 9th IOHSK International Conference at Chung-Ang University, Seoul, South Korea | July 22–24, 2026

The International Organization for Health, Sports, and Kinesiology (IOHSK) is pleased to announce a special book signing event featuring Dr. Timothy Baghurst, Professor and Director of FSU COACH: Interdisciplinary Center for Athletic Coaching at Florida State University. Dr. Baghurst is also an invited speaker for IOHSK’s 2026 Internationally Distinguished Scholar Lecture Series at the 9th IOHSK International Conference.

IOHSK is planning a dedicated date, time, and venue for Dr. Baghurst’s book signing event during the conference. The event will feature his book, Reflections on the Coaching Life Volume Two: 90 Daily Thoughts to Help Coaches and Sports Professionals Improve Their Craft.

Conference participants are cordially invited to attend this special event, purchase a copy of the book, receive the author’s autograph, take a photo with Dr. Baghurst, and enjoy meaningful academic and personal conversations with him. Pre-orders will be available through the IOHSK website beginning in mid-June at a special IOHSK member price.

Dr. Baghurst has published more than 125 peer-reviewed articles, in addition to seven books and numerous book chapters. His work has been recognized with the Board of Regents Research Award, as well as state and national awards. He has also been honored with Hall of Fame and Fellow status in three sport science organizations. At the 2026 IOHSK International Conference in Korea, Dr. Baghurst will be officially inducted as a Fellow of IOHSK (FIOHSK).

Dr. Baghurst has worked with many organizations, including collegiate athletic programs and groups affiliated with the National Basketball Association (NBA), the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC), and the International Olympic Committee (IOC). He has served on the Board of Directors for the Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour and was the Head Coach of the USA Racquetball Junior National Team.

In addition to his academic and professional accomplishments, Dr. Baghurst is an accomplished athlete in racquetball, squash 57, and pickleball. He has represented England at multiple world and senior world championships.
