IOHSK Scholarship Recipients Admitted to Prestigious Universities
The International Organization for Health, Sports, and Kinesiology (IOHSK) is pleased to announce that several IOHSK scholarship recipients have been admitted to prestigious universities, reflecting their outstanding academic achievement, athletic involvement, leadership, and commitment to future professional careers in health, sports, kinesiology, and related fields.
In 2025, IOHSK launched new scholarship programs to support high school student-athletes who aspire to become future professionals in the fields of health, sports, and kinesiology. These scholarship programs have been funded through a partnership of the Dr. Thomas L. McKenzie and Randi McKenzie Scholarships and Grants Foundation and the IOHSK Scholarship Funds.
The purpose of the 2025 IOHSK International Student-Athlete Scholarship Award is to support and recognize outstanding high school student-athletes who demonstrate strong academic performance, active athletic participation, leadership, and a commitment to healthy and active lifestyles. The scholarship aims to encourage student-athletes to excel academically and athletically; support young individuals interested in health, sports, kinesiology, physical education, exercise science, and related professions; recognize dedication and achievement in school, sports, and community activities; promote healthy and active lifestyles among youth; provide merit-based financial assistance ranging from $300 to $1,000; and inspire recipients to serve as positive role models for their peers and communities.
Among the 2025 International Student-Athlete Scholarship Award recipients, Elliot Juwon Lee has been admitted to Cornell University, and Yuuki Hoichi Jacobson has been admitted to the University of California, Santa Cruz.
In addition, Miroslava Camila Carboni, a recipient of the 2026 IOHSK International High School Scholarship, has been admitted to Arizona State University with a university scholarship.
The IOHSK International High School Scholarship is designed to support and encourage high school students worldwide who have a strong interest in the fields of health, physical activity, sport, and related professions. Eligible applicants are expected to demonstrate meaningful participation in school- or community-based activities, such as health or medical clubs, community health and wellness initiatives, varsity athletic programs, or health-related volunteer work. Applicants must also show strong academic achievement, including an overall GPA of 3.80 or higher on a 4.00 scale or ranking within the top 5% of their class over the past two semesters, along with a strong letter of recommendation from a club advisor, coach, or teacher.

Their success reflects the mission of IOHSK to support the next generation of leaders and professionals in health, sports, kinesiology, and related disciplines. IOHSK wishes them continued success in their academic, athletic, and professional journeys.
All IOHSK scholarships are open to the public. However, as part of IOHSK’s merit-based review system, strong consideration is given to applications recommended by active IOHSK members who have demonstrated continued service, commitment, and engagement with the organization.
