IRCECS 2026: Advancing Global Knowledge

IRCECS 2026 will be organized by the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) through the Center for Human Kinetics and Wellness Studies (CHKWS) and will take place on December 18–19, 2026, in a hybrid format at the University of Southern Mindanao in the Philippines and via Zoom.

The conference will be held under the theme:

“Advancing Global Knowledge through Education, Cultural Preservation, and Sports Innovation”

The conference will bring together researchers, educators, professionals, practitioners, and students from different countries to share research, exchange knowledge, strengthen international scholarly networks, and explore future academic and institutional collaborations.

IOHSK’s Role as International Co-Host

The IOHSK Board recognizes the strong academic and professional alignment between the goals of IRCECS 2026 and IOHSK’s international mission. Through this collaboration, IOHSK seeks to expand opportunities for international research exchange, multidisciplinary scholarship, professional networking, and academic cooperation.

As an official International Co-Host, IOHSK will support and participate in IRCECS 2026 through appropriate activities, including promoting the conference through its international networks, encouraging IOHSK members and affiliated researchers to participate and present their scholarly work, supporting international academic participation, and fostering research collaboration among participating institutions.

The University of Southern Mindanao, as the Host Institution, will maintain primary responsibility for the planning, administration, registration, technical and logistical arrangements, research submission and review processes, conference materials, financial management, promotion, and overall implementation of IRCECS 2026, while working closely with IOHSK and CHKWS.

IOHSK is honored to join the University of Southern Mindanao and CHKWS in this important international academic initiative. We look forward to contributing to a successful inaugural conference and to building a foundation for continued international research networking, scholarly cooperation, institutional partnerships, and future collaborative activities.

$1,000 Student Registration Support for IRCECS 2026

In addition to serving as an International Co-Host, the Hoichi-So Foundation of IOHSK will provide $1,000 USD (approximately PHP 60,000–63,000) in financial support to help undergraduate and graduate students participate in IRCECS 2026.

The funding will be used specifically to support conference registration fees, with 60% allocated to students from the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) and 40% allocated to students from other institutions.

The Center for Human Kinetics and Wellness Studies (CHKWS) will develop and administer the application, selection, and award process. Priority consideration will be given to students who demonstrate financial need and strong academic merit, including academic awards and achievements, GPA, outstanding community service, and other relevant accomplishments.

Through this financial support, IOHSK seeks to reduce financial barriers, expand student participation, and provide deserving undergraduate and graduate students with meaningful opportunities to engage in international research, academic exchange, and scholarly activities.

IOHSK congratulates the University of Southern Mindanao and CHKWS on this new international initiative and looks forward to welcoming scholars, researchers, educators, professionals, and students from around the world to IRCECS 2026.
